Bauer Christmas

The kids came for Christmas last weekend - I am just late with this post.  We had a great time and always look forward to getting together.  We all went to church, then came home, ate soup, and opened presents.  Now I can't even remember if we played a game, but surely we did because we always do!

Then Blake and Tamara left as they were expecting company that evening, so I enlisted everyone else's help with the annual Christmas cookie decorating.  We have done this for years, but I have started making the cookies and the frosting and the rest of the family decorates because by that time I am sick of the cookies.  Here they are in action.

 

Some might notice the beer bottles for Kyle and Russ.  They thought it would help them be more creative, and I can't say it didn't work.  Below is Paige with one of the new cut-outs I got at Clay Gourmet this year.  For some reason, some of my old ones rusted, so I got a light bulb (as modeled), a snowman, and a mitten.  Some at my family at Christmas have been known to say they it is the highlight of their day.
