This is one of the ornaments I made the first year we got married. It is needlepoint, which I haven't done for about 25 years now. I stitched 1980 on the bottom and fill it with candy every year so that it hangs better. I made some other ones out of fabric and still put a few up, the this one goes up every year. It is a reminder of our first Christmas when we lived in a trailer house. I'm sure that three was a pasture cedar tree. The smell of cedar permeated the house and the price was right.
