Easter 2011

We had a great Easter celebrating at my sister's house in Stafford.  It was an early morning as their church starts at 9am since the Stafford UMC is now a two charge church.  But with no kids to get around, we did it with smiles on our faces, or at least without grumbling.

Then about half way there, we got a call from Abby who was coming from Yates Center with the boyfriend, Derek.  They had a flat tire and couldn't get the tire off.  So Derek's dad got to make the trip from Yates Center to near El Dorado to help.  Needless to say, they didn't make it to church so Abby said it didn't really feel like Easter.  We had a great dinner with spiral ham, cheesy potatoes, asparagus, and a variety of salads as well as Kim's homemade rolls.
Randy, Kim, Jill and Eric.

Brian, Madison, Suzanne, and my brother, Kent.
Derek and Brian are roommates at FarmHouse.
Mom and Dad.

Suzanne's parents and Randy's sister's family were also there, so we had twenty total for dinner.  I love sprial ham!

  1. It was great to have you all here! Thanks for making the effort to get here in time for church. But, like you said, you experienced a whole different kind of sunrise service!
